Desserts Week In Review

How are you doing today? It's Sunday, it's time to recap some of the yummy treats that I made this past week.  But before I do, thanks to the weekend bloggie readers for your comments about my Pesto Sauce & Peanut Sauce recipes yesterday.  See, I do make things other than desserts...Like the Raw Vegan Pasta-n-Pesto...

Or the Peanut Sauce Recipe

...but you wouldn't know it lately with all my desserts, would you.  Anyone complaining? Get a load of the recap....

Sunday started things off with my remake of Girl Scout Thin Mints.  I made Vegan Thin Mint Fudge.

Monday I showed you my Vanilla Chia Pudding.  And yeah, it is space age looking.  I got a couple comments to that effect.  And yeah, it is dang good.  It's like the raw vegan version of Tapioca if you want my take on it.

On Monday I also made Raw Vegan Chocolate Chocolate-Chip Cookies

Tuesday I posted Raw Vegan Apple Crumble

Wednesday I also showed you my TropicOats.  Although a brekkie, good enough to call dessert.

Thursday I posted the Vegan Bananas Foster

Friday was the Grand Finale: Vegan (Almost Raw) Girl Scout Samoas Cookies

I had a last minute burst of energy and Raw Vegan Donut Holes were born

And then, I decided to make some Blondie Macaroons.  And I have extras that I'm giving away.  Have you entered my Blondie Give Away yet?

And if that wasn't enough, in case you missed last week's Desserts Recap, here was that postAnother half dozen desserts and recipes for your mouthgasmic pleasure to behold.

VeganMofo in the house today.

Yoga today is Hanumanasana (Monkey Pose).  Otherwise known as The Full Splits.

Tip of the Day:  Give Aways!

Twitter Time!
Also I finally got up to speed with millions of the rest of you.... I got on Twitter.  For anyone who cares or who's a Twitter user, my info is http://twitter.com/LoveVeggiesYoga
I had been resisting using it but resistance over, I'm on it.

What's your favorite dessert that I made this week?  I like to hear the faves so that I can make more things along those lines?

Random Question...Do you go to Halloween parties as an adult?  I haven't been to a Halloween party in a few years but actually, I'd like to go to one I think.  It's been too long!  Do you get dressed up?  Ladies, do you think that Halloween is an excuse to wear a costume that on the other 364 nights of the year you'd never be caught dead in it?

Catch you all on Monday with yummy eats....

You've caught on to how I am able to post daily. You have to fill in some of the gaps with a little raw food porn. Yum! That looks good :-)

Vegan Thin Mint Fudge! I mean, that's the one thing I miss and cannot find a vegan version of ANYWHERE. Plus almost raw? Can't beat that. SO much yum with all those desserts!

AVERIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Hi Love!!! Man oh man! It has been wayy to long since I visited!! Blah school!!! I hate it! I, in fact, wrote down in my planner many days ago to reply to you about (my comfy clothing post) and how I really can't stand JEANS either. I rarely wear them if I have to be in them for more than 3 or 4 hours. Long days at school = not denim. haha!!!

Wow and look at all the goodness you have been up to since I missed!!!

Your raw baking is seriously soo gorgeous!! I wish I could sample some!!!
And the peanut sauce, and raw pasta! TO DIE FOR. I need to get some more zucchini so I can spiralize!! During the summer, it was easy- just go outsdie and snip some off from the garden!

Anywho, the donut holes, the samoas cookies, the macaroon/blondies...all look so amazing!!!

I love the yoga poses too! I do splits almost daily because I don't want to lose them after skating!!
Okay I'll close this novel comment by saying, HAPPY SUNDAY LOVE!!!!!

HUGS,
GC

My favorite are the samoas! Just the thought of them makes me love coconut and chocolate and yumm they are just so good.

HALLOWEEN!! You should definitely go to a Halloween party! I dress up in a costume with out a doubt. This is also why I love themed parties because I love wearing costumes. I have random props around my room because it's just so much fun. I remember one random Friday night I just felt like wearing a tear shaped rhinestone as a third eye. Lol everyone thought it was so cool and I made/mesmerized some folks haha.

XO

seriously - dessert envy to the max, Averie!

I am over 18 though I suppose I'm not technically a trueeeeee adult -- I still go to college halloween parties, does that count?!

averie...i do not know how you do it, but each and every one of these recipes needs to be in my belly. like now.

you are amazing. i am totally jealous of your full splits :)

Hey Averie - yay you're on twitter - I am too!! I just followed you now.

I made the donut holes over the weekend with some packaged flax meal. They tasted good but they got stuck in my teeth real bad :(

I also made overnight PB, banana, chia and oats with a lot of tweaking and had it for breaky this morning mmmmhhhmmm!

I haven't tried any other recipes (besides the peanut sauce which is slurpalicious) yet because my blender engine overheated so I'm without blend which makes me sad :(

Thanks for commenting about yoga, didn't get any done yesterday but am trying to plan out my week to fit some in :D

I need to make raw donut holes! I haven't had a donut in years.. I bet raw ones are even better!

TheFitnessFreak said...

Thanks for the reminder , although I didn't need it because I had the pictures ingrained in my mind : ) My fave, want to try, is the raw samoas, yum!

I don't do Halloween so no dress up for me : (

Once again...drooling all over the keyboard..

How ironic that you mention Halloween parties - I haven't been to one in years, but I was thinking that this year I'd love to go to one or have one here. I was talking to Chris about having our own since Halloween is on a Saturday this year, but then he told me he's working that night. Not that I couldn't still have one, but I feel bad throwing a party knowing that he'll walk in the door at 1am having been at work sincec 10am that morning...??

Cindy said...

OH I LOOOOOOOOOOVE Halloween!
we never go to any parties (we don't know anyone who throws adult parties like that) but would be fun!

and YES I would so dress up..and not just cuz I can't the other days...HAHAHA

can you create some other kind of crumble? more of a dish instead of cookies?

That's what I need..something I can make and share with 6 or 8 people...Holidays are coming.. I want to spread the raw goodness and share!

I know you can! you're a dessert genius...(how about a carmelized yam dish! ) hahaha

later chickie dee
