Surprise post for you guys to say I am sincerely blown away by the depth of personal accomplishments and stories that you all are sharing in the comments of my last post on what are you proud of!!!  I am floored in such an amazing & positive way about what you all have done, overcome, accomplished and what a kickass group of friends I have reading my blog.  I love you guys!

And gracias for your appreciation of my Vegan Almost Raw Girl Scout Samoas Cookie Remake Recipe.

How are you doing today?  It's TGIF time...

But I just wanted to post a quickie that I made this morning that totally worked...

Averie's 5-Minute Raw Vegan Donut Holes
Grind 1 c flax seeds
Then add 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup (or agave if you're a raw purist)

Optional: dash of cinnamon, vanilla, and 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil

Blend again.

Optional: Stir in 1/4 c flax seeds by hand for a chunky rustic flaxey look

Form into balls

The result? 18 little Donut Holes

Let's Call 'em Raw Vegan Donut Holes instead.

Things today were brought to you in VeganMofo spirit.

Stay tuned for a saucy post tomorrow....

What's everyone up to tomorrow and Sunday?  Anyone going shopping?  A long workout?  Blog surfing?  Family time?  Whatcha up to?  I think I am going to make raw vegan gingerbread cookies in the a.m. and then hang out with my lovies in the p.m.

These look great, I seriously wish I could just employ you to cook for me...my life would be complete!

I have a very busy weekend...I'm working for an Open Day at my university on Saturday and then Sailing and running a 10K on Sunday...I also need to find time to read a billion chapters of a book for one of my classes on Monday...I think I need extra hours in the day to complete everything!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Another tasty, healthy recipe! I just love the taste of agave... I even put it on my pancakes instead of maple syrup. SO GOOD!

Sounds like a perfect relaxing weekend for you. I, of course, have my Mother-Daughter Shopping Trip!! Be sure to take your daughter on many of these as soon as she's old enough to enjoy them. Seriously, one night in a hotel with a fancy dinner and lots of shopping can make the perfect weekend. :)

You ought to publish a cookbook, Miss Averie!

Donut holes look easy and yummy. We have tried making some out of Ani's cookbook though did not really come out due to our alterations of the recipe. You have inspired us to create our own donut holes... though going to have to wait till after our cleanse. :( We have a busy day tomorrow with two farmers markets and than more paperwork, etc. Not much relax time over here.... boo!

Okay, its officially Averie, you need to open a raw vegan goodie shop (then send me samples!!!). Everything always looks so amazing and totally "do-able". Perhaps a show/cookbook is in your future????? <3 Happy weekend! :)

Wow! I am floored by your raw vegan desserts! Reading your blog has inspired me to get more in touch with the raw way of veganism. I am a vegan and I would love to commit to being fully or mostly raw one day. Thanks for all of the amazing recipes. When I finally get the time, I will definitely try one! :) Your yoga skills and practice are phenomenal as well. I am a beginner in yoga and can't wait to broaden my horizons with some intense classes next fall once I begin college. Keep posting and I will DEFINITELY keep reading!

This recipe looks so simple and tasty, but most off all it doesn't require the vitamix!

Packing for vacation and cleaning the apartment this weekend.

I bought flax seeds about a year ago and wound up throwing them out because I didn't know what to do with them. This recipe inspired me to give them another shot.

I cheated by buying Bob's Red Mill flax meal, so all I had to do was mix in coconut oil and agave by hand. Instant gratification! Holy Omega-3, Batman, how can something be so easy and delicious and healthy all at the same time?
