In my last post, I also mentioned I have been up to some Espresso Making.
I'm also really glad you enjoyed the First ReaderTribute Post where I featured the Readers who have Made My Recipes. It's chock full of great reader photo submissions and links to their site, as well as to my original recipes, in case you got hungry and wanna try your hand at a few eats.
Since I got so many photo submissions, it's time for Tribute Post 2. Enjoy! And then I break out a few chocolaty items of my own at the end...
So without further ado, here are the Reader Pics.
Each pic has two links: First, the link back to the Reader's Blog
And the Second Link goes back to the place on my Blog where the Original Recipe is Posted. Enjoy!

Moving along to a few other Things Now...
(including Chocolate Goodies)
I was so happy to find a box at the front door containing some great samples from Amazing Grass.
I am most excited by this Chocolate Action.
Katie uses it and since she's actually Chocolate-Covered Katie, I figure it should pass muster with me. Stay tuned for recipes I hope to create with it.
I also snacked on another chocolate item. A Pure Bar in Chocolate Brownie flavor.
Dates, walnuts, chocolate, vegan, gluten-free. You really cannot go wrong with Pure Bars.
Dinner was a
Dessert was, what else, Raw Vegan Peanut Butter Cups and...
....a few bites of some Raw Vegan Chocolate Coconut Snowball action. New readers this is a 5-minute, no fancy appliance, freezer only, kinda dessert. Easy, rich, chocolaty, divine.
Yoga Today is Halasana (Plow Pose). When you enter Halasana, don't turn your neck from side to side, you could injure yourself if you don't just keep your neck still. Also, your drishti (gazing point), should be your navel. And remember to Breathe. Special Shout Out here to Cindy who's thanked me over and over about how my Pose of the Day has truly helped her not only find yoga, but also deepen her practice and that these poses I do have been incredibly helpful to her. You are so welcome, my Friend. Namaste!
Have these daily yoga poses helped anyone else? Tell me about your yoga Journey. Are you a Beginner, never tried it, intermediate, or have you tried yoga but haven't really stuck with it? Do you want to get into yoga more? Tell me about where you're at with Yoga! Do you have any special questions I could help answer? If you missed my Yoga FAQ's post, check it out, too!
Tip of the Day: Michelle (Lucky Taste Bud's) is giving away lotsa loot!
Stay Tuned For a Highlights of the Week Post...

I love your yoga poses! I taught yoga for about 3 years in college, but I am far from teaching now. I do it a few times a week but am not as good as I was. I would love to get more into it!!
So.... when are you opening up a restaurant? ;)
The yoga poses DO help tremendously - great stress relievers.
Ahh, I agree with Veggie Girl! You need to open a raw/vegan restaurant. I'd be there everyday ;)
I'm a total yoga beginner. I've tried it a little, but have never really stuck with it. I do think it'd be cool to get into it :)
WOWEE.. you sure have inspired a lot of readers, Averie. How awesome is that?!?!
I love those Pure Bars.. so good and awesome Amazing Grass goodies!!
Here's to a super weekend :)
I have to say that pie looks awesome!!! Who ever made that was quite creative :) hehehe. Everything looks so good but to be honest I am about to vomit from all the cc pumpkin cookies I ate earlier. I am putting a ban on making sweets in my house until...???...???...well probably next week. hehehe
Have a great weekend sweetie!
XOXOX
Justine
OK Justine and the gal who did the Barbie (I blanked on her name because the drool pulled out some brain cells) are rockin' the house with these recipes!! So freakin amazing!
Whew! I want to make the pb cups! I want to make the raw brownies! I want to make the chocolate snowball thingies! I want... oh heck, I just want YOU to come here right now and cook (or uncook) for me!!
Then, after we've gorged ourselves with your amazing raw treats, we can sit around concocting Amazing Grass recipes and we can gossip ;)
Fantabulous post, as always!
I've been doing yoga for almost a year now and I LOVE IT! I love your daily yoga poses. I just mastered the splits and have almost mastered crow!!
I am SO making your recipes. MMMM!
<3 jess
xoxo
I love Amazing Grass! I can't wait to see what kind of recipes you come up with.
As far as yoga goes, I am quite a beginner. I have been doing it only once a week for the past 2 months, and I have started to notice some improvements in my flexibility. My balance is another story!
How many days a week would you recommend doing yoga for a beginner like myself? I am looking to tone up, improve balance and flexibility, and feel good overall. :)
I think I should add the apple crumble to my Dessert list for Thanksgiving. Hmmmm
it's a good thing I am stuffed! or i'd need to go make another mess in the kitchen...so much beautiful food!
I love that pose so much...Thanks for sharing!
I just started taking yoga at my gym and I'm REALLY enjoying it!!! It's good for my back. but I would like to learn more poses to do through out the day:)
and I must say this post was chocolate heaven!
I think you just need to start a mail order business. I nominate myself to taste test all of your recipes.
YAY! This post made me smile so much, it is awesome to see all the raw vegan love spreading around the world.
About yoga...I do it occasionally and I definitely need to do it more! It is so centering and beautiful, and it stretches me out like Gumby!
Oh. My. Gosh. It's 7:38 am and I'm sitting here drooooling at work! Wishing I made some raw chocolate pie for breakfast! :P
I was never a big yoga person until I took an Iyengar class at my campus gym. I loooved the static poses that stretched my muscles to their very limits. And I liked how the instructor was very hands-on and informative. I do more generic type class at my new gym that I still love, and some Hatha-inspired stuff too. No power yoga or bikram though, I run to work out, I do yoga to chill and get some peace :)
I've got to check out LuLuLemon - I feel like I'm missing out!
Wint yoga I describe myself as an intermediate beginner. Definitely not a beginner but I have a long way to go. I love that you are my resource though and that you can answer all sorts of questions for me. You are hands down my yoga go-to gal and I love ya for it!
While I'm not really advanced enough to do many of the poses you demonstrate, they've been wonderful inspiration to deepen my practice and really take things to the next level. Thanks so much!
Thanks for the shout-out, Averie! And even BIGGER thanks for sharing that reeses cup recipe in the first place :)
Love this tribute post because now I have lots of new bloggies to check out -- look at all the kitchens you are inspiring!
Wish I did yoga -- after having 5 babies, this hard-working old body needs it :)
Happy weekend!
Sheri
Woo!! Love the new gear, lil lady! You look so cute.
I'm so making the peanut butter cups for a dinner today. I can't wait to see how everyone likes them! I'll shoot you an email and let you know ;)
dude i totally want to get to WF and pick up some chia seeds. i'm prettttty sure they would make an oh-so-delicious sunday morning breakfast tomorrow haha :)
in case i don't post about it today i picked up tjs gingerbread coffee! i couldnt resist haha. i'm enjoying it actually right now as i type haha. it's pretty good! it's dark so you might like it and it has good seasonings. i thiiink i like it better then the wintry blend and you can definitely taste the nutmeg in the batch :) i hope they have free samps at the one by you so you can give it a try
Wow, everything looks scrumptious!
I wish I could enoy plow pose but it's SO straining on my neck :( I tried deaf man's pose once and almost cried.. no me gusta!
I love these tribute posts -- you should be very honored :) after all, imitation is the greatest form of flattery.. and you deserve to be flattered regularly!
hugs and smooches, beautiful! xoxo
Stop it, stop it, stop it! I am doing the Master Cleanse and this is making me so hungry :o)
I love seeing the yoga poses! It affirms that my posture is correct, yay! I am doing yoga all week again because it is a "rest" week. Thank goodness because anything more than that during the MC would be too much!
So fun! That chocolate pie looks phenom! I'm with VeggieGirl- when does the restaurant open up? Seeing your daily poses makes me want to incorporate more yoga into my life- its a GREAT reminder
Hello food porn!!!!!!!! Love this post. Now i'm craving something sweet :)
And those pb cups look delish!!! As does everything else, but when does it not?! xoxo
Averie I feel so bad! I don't know if I ever said thank you for linking back to my blog...I'm really starting to lose it! There were so many things I was trying to remember to respond to and that was ONE thing I really want to say thank you about. Ugh...as my mom would say, "I have a head like a sieve."
I hope I'm as good at yoga one day! Amazing, all your food looks so good x
Those peanut butter cups look great!
I've been doing yoga since I was a kid. Instead of plopping us in front of the tv, my mom would get us on the mat getting our body into animal yoga poses. I feel like most people who begin yoga usually fall in love with it!
dang.. better pass that drug test!! ;) i kid of course. love this post! making me crave the sweet stuff. and i second veggie girl's Q~! for reals mama! xoxoxoxoxo
Love love your blog. Those treats all look amazing.
heyaaa darling! how did your walk/run go?? the almond milk was ehhh not as frothy as yours bc I dont have an esspresso steamer, BUT i heated it up and threw it in the magic bullet, then whipped it up for 30 secs...it was good! just not averie good :)
i love yoga, but I don;t do it nearly as much as I should. If you lived in my area I would be so motivated to come to your class!!
those pure bars are great arent they? the chocolate one tastes like a brownie
xoxox
GASPPPP
I think I was 4 posts behind on you specifically. Tragic. I also have major OCD with the comments. I usually read all the posts via google reader, but then the ones I comment I open in a new tab, and usually I have 40 tabs of people I want to comment. I still have a window with multiple tabs open from Thursday I think. Sad, sad story. I decided to tackle the newest ones before those though. :)
1. Love your Lululemon duds. Duhhh.
2. I can't believe I was late on checking out espresso making. MY ONE TRUE LOVE. Coffeee+espresso. Baha.
3. I LOL-ed at your "TWSS" joke regarding my small cookie dough balls. I like em small, so I can eat 4 in one sitting. :)(Tricking my mind.)
