HI ! I don’t eat cupcakes very often because no one else in my house will eat them… But I remember having one at a vegetarian/vegan restaurant called Kavarna, and it was so good! It was a chocolate cupcake with raspberry frosting with candied ginger on top YUM So pretty. It was my first vegan and gluten-free one too!

oh boy… how could i pick just one! i would have to say that i LOVE carrot cake with cream cheese frosting! nothing like a moist carrot cake (not with too many spices and no raisins please!) oooh and HOMEMADE cream cheese frosting. DELISH. and i figure that has to count as vegetables, right? a close second would have to be heath cake/ “better than sex” cake cupcake style! The cake is soooo moist and topped with a whipped cream frosting with heath crumbles on top! pair that with a cup of coffee and i am one happy girl!

Maybe chocolate and peanut butter? My absolute favorite cupcake though, from a bakery near my parents’ place, is chocolate with marshmallow fluff filling and chocolate ganache– so darn good!

My favorite cupcakes I make at home are actually from the Martha Stewart Cupcakes Cookbook. I LOVE the zucchini spice cupcakes with cream cheese icing. Aaaaahhh-mazing! Mmm…sometimes though I make a chocolate cupcake and put a mixture of cream cheese, egg, mini chips and sugar mixed together and drop a spoonful into each cupcake before it goes into the oven. Best cupcake I’ve ever had was at a gourmet cupcake shop and it was a Strawberry Shortcake cupcake. Had vanilla cake, real strawberry filling, and whipped cream frosting! It was worth cheating with some gluten!!!
